Shanghai will implement the policy of exempting vehicle purchase tax for new energy vehicles, continue to implement subsidies for the replacement of new energy vehicles, promote the replacement of old vehicles and further promote the use of new energy vehicles.

SHANGHAI, Mar 24 (SMM) - Shanghai will implement the policy of exempting vehicle purchase tax for new energy vehicles, continue to implement subsidies for the replacement of new energy vehicles, promote the replacement of old vehicles and further promote the use of new energy vehicles.

The city will give consumers a one-time subsidy of 10% of the payment amount, up to 1,000 yuan, for personal consumption such as green smart home appliances.
