SHANGHAI, Mar 24 (SMM) – In terms of exports, faltering consumption in the automobile and real estate markets across Japan, South Korea, Europe and the United States, combined with geopolitical conflicts, took a toll on China’s silicon metal exports.
Customs data showed that China exported 651,000 mt of silicon metal in 2022, down 16% YoY. Exports stood at 99,200 mt from January to February 2023, a decrease of 8% YoY.
