On March 23, the groundbreaking ceremony of Jinchuan Group's 400,000-mt/year smart copper electrolysis project was held in Hexibao Industrial Park, Jinchang City.

SHANGHAI, Mar 24 (SMM) - On March 23, the groundbreaking ceremony of Jinchuan Group's 400,000-mt/year smart copper electrolysis project was held in Hexibao Industrial Park, Jinchang City.

The project will be built in two phases, using advanced stainless steel cathode electrolysis technology.

Domestic output of didymium oxide in January 2023 stood at 5,622 mt, up 9.5% MoM. Output increased across Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Jiangsu and Shandong to varying degrees.
