Iran Discovers First Lithium Deposit with Estimated Ore Reserves of 8.5 Million Mt

SHANGHAI, Mar 21 (SMM) - Ebrahim Ali Molabeygi (Ebrahim Ali Molabeygi), director of the Geological Prospecting Bureau of the Iranian Ministry of Industry, said on February 28 that members of the Iranian geological survey team discovered the first lithium deposit in Hamadan Province in the north-west region, with estimated ore reserves of 8.5 million mt.
