The consumer confidence index (CCI) in the Eurozone rose from -20.7 in January to -19 in February. Some economic indicators in Europe have picked up recently, but inflation remains high. The market expects the European Central Bank (ECB) to continue to raise interest rates, with a probable 50-basis-point rate hike in March. If the Fed raises interest rates by 25 basis points in March, the euro will once again contain the dollar in the short term.
