SHANGHAI, Mar 20 (SMM) - In Shanghai, downstream buyers, motivated by falling zinc prices, were passionate about picking up cargoes during the weekend. Therefore, the inventory in Shanghai posted a decline since the arrivals were stable. In Tianjin, the inventory changed little as both arrivals and outflows were high. In Guangdong, the market arrivals were flat, but only 1,000 mt were delivered to the warehouses when outflows were large. As a result, the inventory in Guangdong continued to slip. Overall, the total inventory in Shanghai, Guangdong and Tianjin fell 4,400 mt, and that across seven major markets in China was down 4,400 mt as well.
