SHANGHAI, Mar 17 (SMM) - The average operating rate of copper wire and cable companies stood at 71.27% in February. Most large enterprises in east China intensively delivered the orders placed by State Grid as well as new energy and civil engineering sectors that were delayed due to COVID-19. Demand for medium and low voltage wire and cable from the second-class civil construction projects, such as office buildings, hotels, and cultural and entertainment venues, grew significantly. The demand from the real estate sector also picked up.
