SMM RCs of domestic blister copper were 900-1,300 yuan/mt in February.

SHANGHAI, Mar 17 (SMM) - SMM RCs of domestic blister copper were 900-1,300 yuan/mt in February, up 250 yuan/mt month-on-month; CIF RCs of imported blister copper stood at $105-125/mt, down $5/mt MoM. Copper prices hovered at highs after the CNY, expanding the copper scrap supply. Besides, the circulation time, transportation costs and dismantling speed of the copper scrap all improved with the relaxation of COVID-19 control measures in China, easing the supply tightness of blister copper in China.
