LCO Companies once Halve Output on Poor Market Demand in Feb

In early February, LCO prices declined owing to the sharp drop in lithium carbonate prices and the poor demand from the electronics sector.

SHANGHAI, Mar 16 (SMM) - In early February, LCO prices declined owing to the sharp drop in lithium carbonate prices and the poor demand from the electronics sector.

In mid-to-late February, the prices fell greatly. LCO companies halved their output as the market demand remained poor and the lithium carbonate prices trended lower.

As of last Friday September 9, the SMM Imported Copper Concentrate Index (weekly) stood at $81.96/mt, $2.71/mt higher than the previous week.
