SHANGHAI, Mar 16 (SMM) - Fed's beige book: overall us economic activity will increase slightly in early 2023. But economic conditions in the US are not expected to improve much in the coming months. Inflationary pressures remained prevalent. Although price increases have moderated in many regions, respondents expect price increases will slow further this year. Labour market conditions remained stable. Overall, the US loan demand is down, credit standards are tightening, delinquency rates are rising slightly, energy activity is flat to slightly down, and agricultural conditions are mixed. Amid heightened uncertainty, economic conditions in the US are not expected to improve much in the coming months.
