Die-casting Zinc Alloy Manufacturers to be more Willing to Produce

SHANGHAI, Mar 16 (SMM) - The average operating rate of die-casting zinc alloy manufacturers was 56.14% last week, down 3.34 percentage points from 59.49% in the previous week. Raw material inventories held by die-casting zinc alloy companies rose slightly since some producers purchased on dips. Finished product stocks carried by some large manufacturers also grew, thus the companies lowered their operating rates to ease the inventory pressure. The trade war cast a certain impact on some terminal enterprises. Some small and medium-sized enterprises received fewer orders and lowered their operating rates amid the poor exports of hardware. Considering the raw material stockpiling carried out by some large manufacturers who stopped production halfway, it is expected that the operating rates of die-cast zinc alloy manufacturers will increase slightly this week.
