SHANGHAI, Mar 15 (SMM) - In the follow-up, overseas iron ore supply will hardly rise, which will suppress the output growth of pig iron. The fundamentals are unlikely to change, so Iron ore prices will be more affected by the news front and downstream demand. Therefore, SMM believes that the iron ore futures prices will remain rangebound this week.

[SMM Coal Flash] New Hope Reports 11.5 Million Tonnes of Saleable Coal Production in FY2026

Australian coal miner New Hope Corporation Limited has released its full-year results for the 2026 financial year, reporting saleable coal production of 11.5 million tonnes and coal sales of 11.8 million tonnes. Production growth was supported by the continued ramp-up of the New Acland Mine and strong performance at the Bengalla Mine in the second half of the financial year.
