SHANGHAI, Mar 14 (SMM) - SMM survey showed that the average operating rate of blast furnaces in the new sample stood at 92.42% as of March 1, up 0.9 percentage point MoM. The daily consumption of steel scrap across 110 BF mills was 148,300 mt in February, up 10.3% MoM. The supply of steel scrap gradually grew after the CNY, and steel mills restocked actively. The use of scrap rose slightly accordingly.
