The Price Difference Between Primary Lead and Secondary Refined Lead Approached Zero

SHANGHAI, Mar 14 (SMM) - Instead of selling in the spot market, most secondary refined lead smelters focused on delivery of long-term orders last week against falling SHFE lead prices.

SHANGHAI, Mar 14 (SMM) - Instead of selling in the spot market, most secondary refined lead smelters focused on delivery of long-term orders last week against falling SHFE lead prices. The price difference between primary lead and secondary refined lead narrowed from 50 yuan/mt to 25 yuan/mt. Maintenance by two smelters due to equipment failure tightened secondary refined lead supply in the market.
