According to SMM statistics, the operating rate of blast furnaces was 92.42% on average last week.

SHANGHAI, Mar 13 (SMM)－According to SMM statistics, the operating rate of blast furnaces was 92.42% on average last week, which was stable from the previous week. The capacity utilisation rate averaged 93.22%, up 0.02 percentage point on the week. The daily average pig iron output of the steel mills in SMM's survey sample stood at 2.23 million mt, an increase of 1,700 mt from the previous week. Last week, the number of blast furnaces that resumed production was basically the same as that carrying out maintenance.
