SHANGHAI, Mar 10 (SMM) - On March 10, premiums of Jinchuan nickel were 6,300-7,500 yuan/mt. The average premium stood at 6,900 yuan/mt, down 200 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. NORNICKEL nickel was quoted at premiums of 2,400-2,600 yuan/mt, with an average premium of 2,500 yuan/mt, down 400 yuan/mt from a day ago. Futures prices and spot premiums continued to decrease this week, but downstream demand was lower than expected, dragging down spot transactions. In terms of nickel briquette, the prices were 182,300-182,800 yuan/mt, a decrease of 7,500 yuan/mt from a day ago. The transactions of nickel briquette were slack as it was still traded at premiums over nickel sulphate.
Spot Nickel Trading Remains Slack Today
On March 10, premiums of Jinchuan nickel were 6,300-7,500 yuan/mt.
