Polysilicon Output in March may Increase Further amid New Capacity

In March, SMM learned that with the ramp-up of new capacity of GCL and Runyang and more working days,

SHANGHAI, Mar 10 (SMM) - In March, SMM learned that with the ramp-up of new capacity of GCL and Runyang and more working days, the supply of polysilicon is expected to increase further. But the maintenance of an enterprise in Xinjiang and the upgrades of some other enterprises will restrain the supply to a certain extent. As such, the polysilicon output is expected to reach about 105,000 mt. According to the current production schedules, the demand for polysilicon from silicon wafer enterprises in March will be about 95,000 mt. Therefore, the polysilicon supply will continue to be in excess.
