SHANGHAI, Mar 9 - One of the major events disrupting the global copper ore supply - the row between Panamanian government and Canada's First Quantum Minerals - finally came to an end as the two reached an agreement on the operation contract of the Cobre Panamá copper mine.
First Quantum is trying to recall about 1,000 workers furloughed by the shutdown and expects to resume ore processing operations in the coming days.
First Quantum suspended ore processing operations at the Cobre copper mine on February 23.
