Iron ore Inventory in South-West China Remained High in February

SHANGHAI, Mar 8 (SMM) – In February, the inventory of iron ore concentrate in south-west China increased from January, mainly because the transportation in the region has not yet fully recovered.

The inventory in Yunnan increased. Due to the limited transportation conditions in Yunnan, the automobile transportation has not yet returned to the pre-holiday situation, resulting in an increase in mine inventory; the inventory in Sichuan grew slightly, and a private mine still saw inventory accumulation due to road construction. Inventory at another private mine gradually decreased due to strong demand. But the overall inventory in Sichuan is still at a high level.
