SHANGHAI, Mar 7 (SMM) - In February, the capacity utilisation rates of mines in Hebei showed an upward trend. Some local state-owned mines passed the inspections at the beginning of the month and returned to normal production. Iron ore prices rose in February and trading activities were relatively brisk, encouraging mines to ramp up their production.

In March, the capacity utilisation rates will climb further as state-owned mines, as well as large ones, will apply to resume their production after the “Two Sessions” end in the middle of the month.
