Severe Overcapacity Lowered Cerium Misch Metal Prices

Last week, mainstream prices of cerium misch metal were lowered to 20,500-21,500 yuan/mt, a drop of around 8.7%.
SHANGHAI, Mar 3 (SMM) - This week, mainstream prices of cerium misch metal were lowered to 20,500-21,500 yuan/mt, a drop of around 8.7%. Mainstream lanthanum prices stabilised at 25,000-27,000 yuan/mt and prices for cerium were adjusted slightly to 26,000-27,000 yuan/mt. The severe overcapacity in the lanthanum and cerium products market kept their prices weak.
