NBS Releases People's Republic of China (PRC) 2022 National Economic and Social Development Statistics Bulletin

SHANGHAI, Mar 1 (SMM) - On February 28, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) released the People's Republic of China (PRC) 2022 National Economic and Social Development Statistics Bulletin. According to the preliminary calculation, the GDP for the year was 121.02 trillion yuan, up 3.0% over the previous year. The output of crude steel stood at 1017.96 million mt in 2022, down 1.7% on the year; Steel output was 1340.33 million mt, up 0.3% YoY. China's colour TV output stood at 195.78 million units in 2022, up 5.8% year-on-year; The output of refrigerators was 86.64 million units, down 3.6% year-on-year; The output of air conditioners was 222.47 million units, up 1.9% year-on-year.
