SHANGHAI, Feb 24 (SMM) - According to a notice released by LME, LME Nickel market will return to Asian trading hours on 20 March 2023. Based on feedback from market participants, LME thinks that it would be beneficial for the market as a whole for trading on LMEselect to return to a 1:00 a.m. London time start ("Asian hours trading"), which will further contribute to liquidity rebuilding in the LME Nickel market.
The return to Asian hours trading will mean that good-till-cancelled (GTC) and good-till-date (GTD) entered on the Business Day prior to March 20 will persist into the pre-open on that day. All participants shall check the status of all orders during the pre-open to ensure they are accurate.
