Ningbo Shanshan Silicon-Based Materials Launches Anode Material Integrated Project

The project will be built in two phases. Phase I with annual capacity of 10,000 mt will be completed in 12 months, and Phase II with annual capacity of 30,000 mt will take the same time to complete.

On February 21, the anode material integrated production base project of Ningbo Shanshan Silicon-based Materials officially started. The project was under an agreement signed on June 28, 2022, with an investment of about 5 billion yuan. The whole process of anode material production will be incorporated in the production base, from raw material processing, reaction synthesis, intermediate product processing, surface modification to finished product processing.

The project will be built in two phases. Phase I with annual capacity of 10,000 mt will be completed in 12 months, and Phase II with annual capacity of 30,000 mt will take the same time to complete.

After the project is fully completed, the annual output value will exceed 10 billion yuan, and the annual tax will exceed 1 billion yuan. It will become the first and largest high-capacity pure silicon-based anode material R&D base of Shanshan Technology, and the products of the project will contribute to the NEV industry in Ningbo.

The project is expected to start partial shakedown test in the second half of 2023. Partial capacity will be put into production in 2024 and full in 2026.
