Average Operating Rate of Blast Furnaces Rises 0.15 Percentage Point as of Feb 22

SHANGHAI, Feb 22 (SMM)－SMM research showed that the average operating rate of blast furnaces was 92.27% as of February 22, up 0.15 percentage point from the previous period. The capacity utilisation rate averaged 93.12%, up 0.07 percentage point. The daily average pig iron output of sample steel mills was 2.23 million mt, up 1,600 mt from the previous period. SMM estimates that the daily pig iron output across China will be 2.65 million mt, up 1,800 mt.
