SVOLT Energy Has a New Lithium Battery Recycling Project Under its Belt

SHANGHAI, Feb 16 (SMM) - Recently, Tianqi Automation Engineering Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Tianqi Holdings") announced that it intends to invest and establish a joint venture with SVOLT Energy.

It is reported the joint venture company will launch a new LFP battery scrap recycling project using Hydrometallurgy in Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province.

The project boasts annual capacity of 5,000 mt of lithium carbonate and 20,000 mt of iron phosphate.

SMM believes that SVOLT Energy's new move will strengthen its connection with the upstream and downstream players and enhance its core competiveness in lithium battery recycling business.
