According to data released by the General Administration of Customs of China, the total export of magnesium ingots in China reached 280,000 mt in 2022, down 1.4% from the previous year.

SHANGHAI, Feb 10 (SMM) - According to data released by the General Administration of Customs of China, the total export of magnesium ingots in China reached 280,000 mt in 2022, down 1.4% from the previous year.

In December alone, China exported 21,243 mt of magnesium ingots, a 14% decrease on the month and a 31.2% decrease year-on-year.

In terms of destinations, the exports to the Netherlands were 68,000 mt, accounting for 25%; exports to Canada 23,000 mt, accounting for 8%; exports to India 22,000 mt, accounting for 8%; exports to Turkey 19,000 mt, accounting for 7%; exports to Japan 18,000 mt, accounting for 7%.
