SHANGHAI, Feb 10 (SMM) – According to SMM survey, 11 blast furnaces will be restarted in February, which will add pig iron output by 30,700 mt per day, while two blast furnaces will be overhauled, translating into a daily loss of 19,000 mt of pig iron output. SMM estimates that the pig iron output loss from blast furnace maintenance will decline 30% MoM to 5.58 million mt in February.
