On February 3, the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment issued a notice on the Pilot Work Plan for the Construction of Lead-acid Battery Scrap Recycling Networks, agreeing to establish a batch of standardised and orderly lead-acid battery scrap recycling outlets from the date of issuance to December 31, 2023 to improve the recycling and treatment rate of lead-acid battery scrap and effectively prevent the hazardous waste from polluting the environment.
