In January, China’s high-purity manganese sulphate output stood at 14,000 mt, down 46.97% on the month.

SHANGHAI, Feb 8 (SMM) - In January, China’s high-purity manganese sulphate output stood at 14,000 mt, down 46.97% on the month. Some demand was released in advance due to the Chinese New Year holiday and the reduction of national subsidies. Meanwhile, ternary precursor companies stopped or reduced the production intensively. Therefore, the demand for high-purity manganese sulphate remained weak. According to SMM research, most high-purity manganese sulphate enterprises stopped the production for maintenance for about 15-20 days before the CNY holiday. The overall output of high-purity manganese sulphate fell sharply in January.
