On February 7, Hebei Province issued the Implementation Plan for Pollution and Carbon Reduction, and Efficiency Increase in Hebei Province. The Plan proposes to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of energy. By 2025, Hebei strives to reach a total installed capacity of 60 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power generation and 46 million kilowatts of wind power in the province, and reduce coal consumption by about 10% compared with 2020; the proportion of coal consumption during the 15th Five-Year Plan period will continue to decrease.
