Hebei Aims to Bring Total Installed Capacity of Photovoltaic Power Generation to 60 Million Kilowatts by 2025 While Reducing Coal Consumption by 10% Compared with 2020

On February 7, Hebei Province issued the Implementation Plan for Pollution and Carbon Reduction, and Efficiency Increase in Hebei Province. The Plan proposes to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of energy. By 2025, Hebei strives to reach a total installed capacity of 60 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power generation and 46 million kilowatts of wind power in the province, and reduce coal consumption by about 10% compared with 2020; the proportion of coal consumption during the 15th Five-Year Plan period will continue to decrease.
