Strong Wait-and-see Sentiment Persists after HBIS Group's Release of SiMn Purcase Volume

SHANGHAI, Feb 8 (SMM) - As of February 8, the SMM SiMn alloy 65/17 prices stood at 7,350-7,400 yuan/mt and 7,400-7,450 yuan/mt respectively in cash in north and south China, both flat from a day ago.

According to SMM survey, HBIS Group recently announced the purchase volumn of SiMn alloy for February, though the final price has not been set. Since the market players all take a wait-and-see stance, the SiMn alloy prices will basically remain stable before the tenders organised by leading steel mills start.
