Alumina Prices in Shandong Rose on Pollution-Driven Production Disruptions

SHANGHAI, Feb 8 (SMM) – Alumina prices in Shandong province rose slightly yesterday February 7 as heavy pollution prevention measures in local Bingzhou city restricted the operations of roasting capacity, which may threaten to reduce local alumina production. The local prices averaged 2,925 yuan/mt yesterday, up 10 yuan/mt from a day earlier.
