DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Feb 3 (SMM) - According to SMM survey, a stainless steel plant in east China plans to carry out maintenance at the end of February on its steelmaking and steel rolling production lines. It is estimated that about 20,000 mt of 300-series stainless steel output will be affected. It is learned that the steel plant seems to face a shortage of ferromolybdenum on the raw materials side, and thus the 316L stainless steel may be affected most during the production cuts.
