Coke Prices to Stabilise at Low Levels in Short Term

Coke prices are expected to remain stable at low levels in the short term amidst weak trades and low inventories.

SHANGHAI, Jan 31 — Coke prices are expected to remain stable at low levels in the short term amidst weak trades and low inventories.

Some coal mines resumed production, growing coal output. And downstream purchasing interest was lukewarm. Some coal mines lowered their quotes, but the average price was stable.

On coke market, shipments from coking plants improved as transportation recovered. Coke inventories began to fall. Steel mills are currently cautious about stockpiling for coke.
