A Slicon Wafer Company Reduces its Feb Production Schedules due to Polysilicon Leakage Accident

The company reduced its production schedules in February to about 200 million pieces, with an output loss of 100-150 million pieces.

SHANGHAI, Jan 31 (SMM) - According to SMM survey, a silicon wafer company suffered polysilicon leakage on January 30 due to power outages in its plants in addition to crucible quality issues. As a result, the company reduced its production schedules in February to about 200 million pieces, with an output loss of 100-150 million pieces. The order signing of some solar cell buyers might also be affected.
