According to China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, automobile exports remained high in 2022, with annual export exceeding 3 million units. The monthly export exceeded 300,000 units since August 2022.
In December 2022, a total of 324,000 vehicles were exported, a decrease of 1.9% month-on-month and an increase of 45.4% year on year.
In 2022, the exported vehicles totalled 3.11 million units, up 54.4% year-on-year.
In December 2022, exports of passenger vehicles stood at 275,000, a month-on-month decrease of 0.6% and a year-on-year increase of 47.2%.
The exported passenger vehicles totalled 2.53 million units in 2022, up 56.7% on the year.
In December 2022, a total of 49,000 commercial vehicles were exported, a decrease of 8.6% month-on-month and an increase of 35.7% year on year.
The exported commercial vehicles totalled 582,000 million units, up 44.9% year-on-year.
In December 2022, exports of NEVs stood at 82,000, a month-on-month decrease of 14.2% and a year-on-year increase of 360%.
The exported NEVs totalled 679,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 120%.
