SHANGHAI, Jan 28 (SMM) - The Norwegian Radio and Television Company reported on January 27 local time that according to a new resource assessment by the Norwegian Petroleum Agency, a large amount of magnesium, niobium, cobalt and rare earth minerals have been found on the seabed of Norway. In addition, there are 38 million mt of copper, 45 million mt of zinc, and 2,317 mt of gold on the seabed. Currently, Norway is discussing whether to start mining operations at sea, which needs to be approved by the Norwegian parliament.
