SHANGHAI, Jan 20 (SMM) - The lead-acid battery market was cold before the Chinese New Year as the logistics services were halted and some large-sized traders were closed for holidays. Other traders remained active until this Friday. This week, the market transactions declined obviously as most traders stopped making transactions amid the approaching Chinese New Year. Some traders will resume work on January 25 at the earliest and most will reopen on January 28-29. A few companies have delayed their resumption time until February 2. In terms of battery companies, most of them have been closed for holiday, and they purchased few lead ingots this week. The battery companies will resume work and restock after the CNY holiday.
