Lead-acid battery market was cold amid the approaching Chinese New Year as most logistics services were halted last week.

SHANGHAI, Jan 16 (SMM) - Lead-acid battery market was cold amid the approaching Chinese New Year as most logistics services were halted last week. Meanwhile, traders basically completed the pre-holiday stockpiling and their inventory can support the operation for over one month. As such, some traders took holidays while some will stick to business until January 21. On the other hand, most battery enterprises will take holidays for CNY with the completion of pre-holiday restocking. And only a few enterprises still have stockpiling demand this week.
