Customs: China's Imports of Unwrought Copper and Copper Semis Increase 6.2% in 2022

According to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs on January 13, China imported 514,048.5 mt of unwrought copper and copper semis in December. The import volume of unwrought copper and copper semis products in 2022 was 5,870,879.6 mt, up 6.2% from 5,527,491.8 mt in 2021.

SHANGHAI, Jan 16 (SMM) – According to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs on January 13, China imported 514,048.5 mt of unwrought copper and copper semis in December. The import volume of unwrought copper and copper semis products in 2022 was 5,870,879.6 mt, up 6.2% from 5,527,491.8 mt in 2021.

China imported 2.103 million mt of copper ore and its concentrate in December. The import of copper ore and its concentrate in 2022 stood at 25.271 million mt, an increase of 8% from 23.398 million mt in 2021.
