Last Friday, quotes of battery-grade nickel sulphate were 37,000-37,600 yuan/mt, down 900 yuan/mt from the previous Friday.

SHANGHAI, Jan 9 (SMM) - Last Friday, quotes of battery-grade nickel sulphate were 37,000-37,600 yuan/mt, down 900 yuan/mt from the previous Friday. SMM battery-grade nickel sulphate price index was 37,403 yuan/mt, down 657 yuan/mt WoW. Last week, the transactions of battery-grade nickel sulphate remained sluggish. Due to the sharp drop in the ternary precursor output, some large integrated factories began to sell nickel sulphate and did not outsource nickel sulphate. Most ternary precursor factories have finished the pre-holiday restocking, but the nickel salt producers were eager to ship their goods amid the inventory pressure approaching the Chinese New Year. Quotes of nickel sulphate small orders were low, and the traded prices dropped rapidly. Prices of battery-grade nickel sulphate are expected to move between 36,500-37,300 yuan/mt this week.
