SHFE Lead Inventories Declined to the Lowest in Over Two Years

Lead inventories on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) continued to decline in the week of December 30, down 16.03% to 35,217 mt, the lowest in more than two years, according to data released by the SHFE.

SHANGHAI, Jan 5 - Lead inventories on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) continued to decline in the week of December 30, down 16.03% to 35,217 mt, the lowest in more than two years, according to data released by the SHFE.

Data from the London Metal Exchange (LME) showed that LME lead inventory increased last week. On December 29, LME lead inventory increased to a one-month high of 25,150 mt.
