India Decides to Impose Anti-Dumping Duties on Chinese Stainless Steel Seamless Tubes and Pipes

On December 20, 2022, the Revenue Department of the Ministry of Finance of India issued a circular No. 31/2022-Customs (ADD), claiming to accept the affirmative final anti-dumping recommendation that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India made on September 23, 2022 on stainless steel seamless tubes & pipes originated from or imported from China with a diameter of less than or equal to 6 inches, and decided to impose anti-dumping duties on the products for a period of 5 years.

On December 20, 2022, the Revenue Department of the Ministry of Finance of India issued a circular No. 31/2022-Customs (ADD), claiming to accept the affirmative final anti-dumping recommendation that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India made on September 23, 2022 on stainless steel seamless tubes & pipes originated from or imported from China with a diameter of less than or equal to 6 inches, and decided to impose anti-dumping duties on the products for a period of 5 years, with a tax amount of $0-3,801/mt. The following 4 companies will be exempt from the anti-dumping duties: Zhejiang Jiuli Hi-Tech Metals Co., Ltd., Huadi Steel Group Co., Jiangsu Wujin Stainless Steel Pipe Group Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Tsingshan Steel Pipe Co., Ltd.
