SHANGHAI, Dec 12 (SMM) - SMM statistics showed that the global iron ore shipments totalled 30.48 million mt in the week ending December 11, a drop of 3.3% week-on-week.
The four major mining companies shipped a combined 22.76 million mt of iron ore last week, a drop of 496,000 mt from a week earlier.
A total of 27.31 million mt of iron ore arrived at Chinese ports last week, up 33.6% week-on-week.
