Global Iron Ore Shipments Fell 5.8% Week-on-Week to 29.6 Million mt during November 7-13

SHANGHAI, Nov 14 (SMM) - SMM statistics showed that the global iron ore shipments totalled 29.6 million mt in the week ending November 13, a drop of 5.8% week-on-week.

SHANGHAI, Nov 14 (SMM) - SMM statistics showed that the global iron ore shipments totalled 29.6 million mt in the week ending November 13, a drop of 5.8% week-on-week. 

The four major mining companies shipped a combined 22.33 million mt of iron ore last week, a drop of 1.13 million mt from a week earlier.


A total of 25.2 million mt of iron ore arrived at Chinese ports last week, up 2.8% week-on-week.

Hunan Launches Second Round of Environmental Inspections, Affecting Lead-Zinc Mines
Hunan Province has launched the second round of its provincial ecological and environmental protection inspection "look-back" campaign.
