Lithium Hexafluorophosphate Prices Stabilised for Now, but Likely to Rise in the Future on Higher Costs

SHANGHAI, Oct 27 (SMM) - SMM survey showed that lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiFP6) prices have stabilised this week. On the raw material side, lithium carbonate prices have kept rising on the back of supply deficit and record high auction prices of lithium concentrate, which has put mounting cost pressure on LiFP6 producers. Steadily increasing LiFP6 supply has kept its prices from going up for the time being, but LiFP6 prices will still have upside room in the future, driven by rising costs.
