BYD disclosed on its website on October 4 that it has signed a long-term agreement with car rental company SIXT targeting the European market.

BYD disclosed on its website on October 4 that it has signed a long-term agreement with car rental company SIXT targeting the European market. Under the agreement, the first few thousand purely electric BYD vehicles will be delivered to SIXT in the fourth quarter of 2022 and launched in the German, French, Dutch and UK markets.

SIXT is expected to further supplement this initial order with an additional 100,000 BYD electric vehicles over the next six years.
