According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the manufacturing purchasing managers' index (PMI) was 50.1% in September, up 0.7 point from the previous month, back to the expansion zone. The non-manufacturing business activity index and the comprehensive PMI output index was 50.6 and 50.9 respectively, both above the 50-point mark for four consecutive months, alluding extensive and constant recovery of domestic economy.
In September, the manufacturing sector resumed its prosperity with the stimulus packages exerting effects, and subsiding impact of the extremely hot weather.
