Manganese Ore Shipments at Tianjin Port Are Disrupted by Worsening Pandemic Situation

SHANGHAI, Sep 27 (SMM) – The COVID-19 pandemic situation in Tianjin deteriorated yesterday, with another 42 cases being confirmed.

SHANGHAI, Sep 27 (SMM) – The COVID-19 pandemic situation in Tianjin deteriorated yesterday, with another 42 cases being confirmed. In response, the city has put some areas in a lockdown, starting from CST 4:25 am, September 27, so as to contain the spread of the disease. 

Tianjin port is one of China’s major manganese ore ports. Many yards owned by Beijiang Warehouse suspended cargo shipments yesterday, but the transportation is now gradually resuming. Shipments from Nanjiang Warehouse were little affected.
